About the company
Protective is a company built on the fundamental concept of guarding assets against damage from outside forces. The principle of protection applies broadly across physical objects, living organisms, complex systems, and intangible assets such as civil and political rights. While the specific mechanisms for providing this security vary widely, the core meaning remains consistent across different fields. In the electrical industry, for example, the term carries the same weight as it does in everyday life. Individuals commonly protect themselves against personal or financial loss through insurance and guard against injury with specialized clothing. Property is secured through measures like locks and alarm systems. The need for protection is a characteristic of all life. Living things have evolved mechanisms to counter damaging environmental phenomena such as ultraviolet light. Biological membranes like tree bark and animal skin offer defense against threats, with skin playing a key role against pathogens and water loss. Additional structures such as scales, hair, spines, and camouflage provide further security from predators and the elements. Many species adopt behaviors like burrowing to insulate themselves from harm. Humans have long used clothing and shelter for protection from the environment. This instinct extends to safeguarding others, particularly the young. In modern human activity, the concept covers nonliving objects like technological systems and intangible items like intellectual property. Efforts also focus on historic preservation, environmental conservation, and planetary defense.
