Senior Product Manager - AI Foundry Team

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the execution and enhancement of MAIA, Prophet's internal multi-agent AI platform. This position involves translating strategic goals into actionable product features, ensuring measurable user adoption, and delivering reliable AI experiences.

What you'll do

• Manage the product backlog and oversee the release schedule from planning to launch, ensuring that technical feasibility and architectural decisions are well-informed for prioritization.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop specifications, execute sprints, perform quality assurance, and finalize releases, while maintaining a hands-on approach with coding and prototyping.
• Establish evaluation criteria for MAIA's capabilities, creating testing protocols to assess accuracy, reliability, and performance metrics, and translating data insights into actionable product improvements.
• Conduct experiments to assess new agent functionalities, model performance, and provide recommendations based on complexity, cost, and maintainability.
• Gather high-value use cases from consulting teams and convert them into detailed specifications and workflows, managing the entire lifecycle of agents from prototype to production.
• Work with IT, security, and legal teams to ensure responsible handling of enterprise data, defining access controls and governance measures for new features.
• Promote the adoption of MAIA across consulting teams by understanding workflows, shaping onboarding processes, and measuring impact through defined metrics.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, preparing technical documentation, demos, and updates tailored to different audiences.
• Advocate for a high-quality user experience, clearly identifying areas for improvement in UI/UX.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years in a technical environment such as AI/ML, platform products, or enterprise software.
• Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to read and write code (Python preferred) and engage in engineering discussions.
• Experience with LLM-based products or AI workflow tools, particularly in areas such as prompt engineering and model evaluation.
• A solid understanding of AI product quality metrics and the ability to create test cases to evaluate system performance.
• Familiarity with enterprise data integration, including APIs, databases, and authentication methods.
• Proven operational discipline in product management, including monitoring, QA, and continuous improvement practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional teams through challenges while maintaining accountability.
• Strong communication skills, capable of delivering clear specifications and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with internal AI tools or productivity platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of technologies such as RAG, vector databases, and agent orchestration tools.
• Experience in secure enterprise environments, including data privacy and access controls.
• Background in consulting or financial services is advantageous.
• Proven track record of successfully transitioning prototypes to production with clear metrics for success.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Python, TypeScript, React, FastAPI, and various APIs.

Salary Range: $165,000-220,000
