About the role

Prestige Staffing is hiring a Security Engineer to support a global financial institution established in 1973. You will join a team focused on protecting financial assets and developing secure banking infrastructure across the United States and Asia.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage and refine logging systems for SIEM and security operations.
• Adjust SIEM configurations to improve detection accuracy and alert quality.
• Deploy and maintain identity management tools, specifically SSO, MFA, PAM, and federation.
• Direct incident response efforts and lead investigations.
• Maintain adherence to internal policies and financial industry regulations.
• Work alongside IT and development staff to refine security processes.
• Perform red teaming, penetration testing, threat modeling, and breach simulations.
• Identify and remediate security gaps within complex financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional information security engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of specific experience in data protection or data security.
• Ability to navigate complex, occasionally slow-moving corporate environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Previous work experience within the financial services sector.
