Senior Frontend Engineer, Observability

About the role

Join our team to build Postman Insights, an initiative designed to help developers identify and resolve API issues within 15 minutes of account creation. You will focus on frontend development for this 0-1 product, iterating rapidly with alpha users to refine the interface before our open beta launch.

What you'll do

• Develop and enhance frontend capabilities for Postman Insights to improve the end-user experience.
• Prototype, experiment, and iterate on core UI features to support weekly product refinements.
• Work alongside Product, Design, and engineering teams to define, build, and test new features.
• Participate in frontend architectural decisions to ensure product scalability and performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
• Experience working independently, including at least 2 substantial projects where you were the sole contributor for major components.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including React and TypeScript.
• Based in the US with substantial overlap with Pacific Time Zone working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience building 0-to-1 products.
• Background in data-intensive user interfaces.
• Experience shipping B2B software.

Practical notes

The estimated OTE for this role is $170,000 to $190,000 plus equity. Benefits include full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, a monthly lunch stipend, and donation matching.
