PointClickCare is seeking a dedicated professional to drive employee growth and organizational learning. You will work closely with leadership to bridge performance gaps and create effective training solutions that align with our mission in the health tech sector.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner with HR business partners and senior leaders to assess skill gaps and prioritize learning initiatives.
- Create and maintain diverse educational content, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and performance support tools.
- Manage the full instructional design lifecycle from initial planning to final delivery.
- Facilitate team off-sites, workshops, and leadership development sessions.
- Track learning metrics to evaluate program impact and refine course materials.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all training aligns with software release cycles.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in adult learning, instructional design, and the creation of blended learning solutions.
- University degree in Adult Learning, Educational Technologies, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in project management, risk assessment, and multitasking.
- Strong ability to analyze performance issues, identify root causes, and propose effective training interventions.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing multi-channel learning solutions based on adult learning theories.
Nice to have
- Certification such as CTDP or CPTD.
- Membership in the Learning Guild or equivalent professional organizations.
- Advanced visual design capabilities.

- Instructional design methodologies
- Multi-channel content development (eLearning, virtual training, simulations, video, and job aids)
- Project planning and stakeholder management

- This is a hybrid role requiring residency within a commutable distance to the Mississauga office.
