Pleo is seeking a Senior TechOps Engineer to join a small, impactful team focused on redefining IT within the company and the broader industry. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to drive transformative projects from concept to completion. You will contribute to shaping Pleo's technical operations and learn extensively in a dynamic environment.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and implement scalable identity solutions using Okta, Workflows, and HiBob to automate organizational structure and user changes across systems.
• Establish foundational asset management and a comprehensive Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategy, enhancing security through device trust rules.
• Serve as the technical partner for the Workspace team, managing network infrastructure and in-office technical systems for Pleo's global offices.
• Provide front-line technical support to understand user challenges and the impact of your work firsthand.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical projects from conception to delivery with minimal daily supervision.
• Experience with a technology stack similar to Pleo's.
• Strong desire to learn and analyze problems to understand their underlying mechanisms.
• Confidence in approaching technical challenges from new perspectives and openly sharing ideas, even when uncertain.
• Capability to thrive in ambiguous environments with a high degree of independence.
• Alignment with TechOps operating principles: transparency, automation-first mindset, first principles thinking, and balancing iterative work with long-term strategic goals.

Nice to have

• Experience with a 95% Macbook fleet managed by Jamf, and 5% Windows on Intune.
• Familiarity with Okta for IAM and Google Workspace for email/productivity.
• Proficiency in using Okta Workflows and open APIs for process integration.
• Knowledge of Juniper Mist for office networking.
• Experience with company-wide tools such as Slack, Notion, and Miro.
