Key facts

What you'll do

• Understand client business needs and translate them into technical designs.
• Build, configure, and manage components within AWS environments.
• Implement and deploy client workloads from start to finish.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within AWS and Linux systems.
• Optimize cloud resource costs and performance.
• Stay current with Azure technologies and assist clients with their adoption.
• Act as a subject matter expert for specific cloud technologies.

Requirements

• At least 2-4 years of experience in cloud consulting or a related technical field.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems and associated technologies.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud engineering and architecture.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms.
• Expertise in core cloud services including compute, storage, networking, virtual machines, and identity management.
• Experience with security and compliance within cloud environments.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively and respond to inquiries.
• Skill in problem-solving within complex technical settings.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Azure Government clouds.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Experience with cloud governance frameworks.
• Linux system administration background, including OS management and patching.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, or GNOME.
• Relevant Linux, AWS, or Azure technical certifications.

Practical notes

• Salary range: $120,000 - $210,000 annually, dependent on experience, clearance, and education.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain federal agency clearance up to a 10-year background investigation.
