This role focuses on guiding advertisers and internal teams through the design and analysis of experiments and brand impact studies. You will be instrumental in demonstrating the value of advertising campaigns on the Pinterest platform through clear, actionable insights.

What you'll do
- Develop and refine strategies for experimentation and brand measurement for key clients and industries.
- Act as a primary measurement advisor for internal groups and external partners, helping to shape learning objectives and recommend appropriate research methods like A/B testing or brand lift surveys.
- Translate advertiser goals into well-defined experimental plans, including hypotheses, performance indicators, timelines, and necessary controls.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of controlled tests, incrementality studies, and brand perception assessments, from initial planning and setup through analysis and reporting.
- Examine extensive data sets using statistical techniques to quantify campaign impact and ensure results are realistic.
- Present complex analytical findings as straightforward insights and recommendations suitable for various audiences.
- Consolidate learnings from multiple studies to identify trends, establish best practices, and create reusable frameworks and case studies.
- Collaborate with product development, data science, and external measurement providers to enhance measurement capabilities.
- Assist sales and client-facing teams by providing measurement narratives and supporting data for client discussions.
- Oversee multiple ongoing projects, keeping stakeholders informed about progress, potential issues, and results.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing science, media analysis, experimentation, or a similar quantitative field; prior experience in ad tech, digital media, or brand measurement is highly beneficial.
- A proven history of designing and interpreting experiments or causal analyses, such as A/B tests, geo-experiments, or brand lift studies.
- A thorough understanding of upper-funnel marketing metrics like awareness and consideration, and their connection to business results.
- Proficiency in working with large data sets using tools like SQL, Python, or R, and applying statistical methods to measure impact and validate findings.
- The ability to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively with sales, customer success, product, and data science teams, as well as with third-party measurement vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, set priorities, and maintain alignment among stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a drive to build measurement frameworks and guides rather than just performing isolated analyses.
- Comfort in using AI tools to speed up analysis, improve reporting efficiency, and assist in developing measurement frameworks.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business or Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.

- This role requires occasional in-office presence for team collaboration, estimated at 1-2 times per year, and can be based anywhere in the US.

- The annual base salary range for this role in the US is $103,965 to $214,044 USD, in addition to equity. The final compensation will depend on factors such as location, travel requirements, and the candidate's experience and skills.
