Software Engineer, React Native

About the role

PhonePe is hiring a React Native developer to build and maintain mobile experiences across Android and iOS. You will work on applications that serve over 600 million registered users and process more than 330 million transactions daily. The role involves creating polished interfaces, integrating with native platform APIs, and solving performance challenges at scale.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-fidelity, fluid user interfaces for both Android and iOS platforms
• Build deeper connections with native Android and iOS APIs
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues on native platforms
• Write and maintain automated tests to uphold product quality
• Keep codebases clean and well-documented

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of full time professional experience
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ features
• Ability to produce clear, well-documented JavaScript code
• Experience with native build tools such as XCode and Gradle
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, request models, and offline storage patterns
• Capability to architect complex mobile applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
