Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to manage the stability and uptime of our large-scale fintech infrastructure. You will handle Linux environments and networking tasks to ensure our services remain accessible to our 600 million registered users.

What you'll do

• Maintain high availability for our services by applying standard IT operations and best practices.
• Participate in the team on-call rotation.
• Manage Linux and Unix systems.
• Work with MySQL databases.
• Write scripts and code to support infrastructure tasks.
• Use automation and configuration management tools.
• Operate within private cloud environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Linux/Unix administration.
• Proficiency in computer networking.
• Strong background in Linux networking, specifically IP, iptables, and IPsec.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Experience with SaltStack for automation.
• Coding or scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with private cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with KVM or QEMU for cloud services on Linux.
• Experience with container orchestration.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly Aerospike.
• Proficiency in Golang and Perl.
• Understanding of Galera cluster operations.
• Experience with data center operations.
• Working knowledge of MariaDB or Percona.
