Head of Design, Wealth

About the role

You will lead the design strategy and execution for Share.Market, a full-stack broking platform focused on stocks, F&O, ETFs, mutual funds, and WealthBaskets. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will define the user experience, mentor a growing design team, and partner directly with product and engineering leadership.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the design standards and strategy for the Share.Market platform.
• Execute high-quality design work, including flows, visual craft, and microcopy, by working directly in design files.
• Simplify complex financial data and regulated workflows to ensure the product remains intuitive for both first-time investors and active traders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps and resolve trade-offs early in the development cycle.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a team of designers as the product scales.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in product design, specifically with consumer-facing products at scale.
• Proven history of design leadership, whether through people management or acting as the primary quality anchor for a product.
• A portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual polish, and logical decision-making.
• Experience designing for data-heavy or regulated environments such as fintech, health, or trading.
• Ability to apply systems thinking to design, including the effective use and extension of design systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating microcopy and articulating design direction.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in trading, broking, or wealth management, or a strong personal background in serious investing.
