Cluster Collections Manager

About the role

PhonePe is looking for a manager to oversee collection operations within a specific cluster. You will guide a team and manage external agencies to ensure recovery targets are met while maintaining operational standards.

What you'll do

• Supervise a team of collection executives and coordinate with third-party recovery vendors.
• Track performance metrics, including resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Manage portfolio delinquency and execute strategies to reduce roll rates.
• Analyze portfolio data to refine collection approaches and improve overall effectiveness.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Produce regular reports on cluster performance and address operational challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Background in a bank, new-age NBFC, or fintech organization.
