Cluster Collections Manager-DELHI NCR

About the role

PhonePe is seeking a Collections Manager to oversee a team of Collection Executives and external recovery agencies in the Delhi NCR region. This role involves driving collection efforts, managing delinquency rates, and ensuring operational efficiency for a specific portfolio. You will implement strategies to recover overdue payments and maintain compliance with company policies.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with third-party recovery agencies.
• Supervise, guide, and support your team to ensure they meet collection targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators like resolution rates and delinquency buckets to improve client experience and efficiency.
• Take responsibility for the portfolio's delinquency rates and the recovery of overdue payments within your cluster.
• Develop and execute collection strategies specific to the nature of overdue accounts in your cluster.
• Analyze data and portfolio health to make informed decisions and enhance collection effectiveness.
• Ensure strict adherence to collection processes, standard operating procedures, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct daily monitoring and regular reviews of the delinquent portfolio.
• Prepare and present reports on cluster performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate.
• At least 5 years of experience in collections.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive and effective communication skills.
