About the role
PhonePe is looking for a manager to oversee collection operations within a specific cluster. You will supervise internal staff and external agencies to ensure recovery targets are met while maintaining operational standards.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Supervise a team of collection executives and coordinate with third-party recovery partners.
- Manage cluster-level KPIs, focusing on resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
- Develop and implement recovery strategies to reduce roll rates and manage overdue accounts.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze portfolio data to track performance and present status reports to management.
- Provide coaching and direction to team members to ensure consistent performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of total experience in collections.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Ability to make decisions and perform under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for managing internal teams and external agencies.

- Experience working within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
