Cluster Collections Manager

About the role

PhonePe is looking for a manager to oversee collection operations within a specific cluster. You will guide a team of executives and coordinate with external agencies to maintain portfolio health and meet recovery targets.

What you'll do

• Supervise and mentor a team of collection executives while managing relationships with third-party recovery partners.
• Track performance metrics, including resolution rates and delinquency buckets, to ensure operational goals are met.
• Take responsibility for portfolio delinquency and execute strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
• Analyze portfolio data to refine collection tactics and improve overall effectiveness.
• Maintain strict compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reports on cluster performance, identifying challenges and recommending solutions to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external agencies.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
