Cluster Collections Manager

About the role

PhonePe is seeking a manager to oversee collection operations within a designated cluster. You will supervise internal staff and external agencies to ensure portfolio health and target achievement.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor a team of Collection Executives while coordinating with third-party recovery partners.
• Oversee portfolio delinquency rates and execute strategies to improve recovery and minimize roll rates.
• Monitor daily performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance across all collection activities.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify trends and present performance reports to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Prior background in Fintech, NBFC, or banking sectors is preferred.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make sound, data-driven decisions.
