Cluster Collections Manager

About the role

PhonePe is seeking a manager to oversee collection operations for a specific cluster. You will guide a team and external agencies to meet recovery targets while maintaining portfolio health and regulatory compliance.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor a team of Collection Executives.
• Coordinate with third-party recovery agencies to ensure performance standards.
• Monitor KPIs including resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Implement strategies to control roll rates and reduce overdue payments.
• Ensure all collection activities follow internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify trends and report on cluster performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working within a bank, an NBFC, or a fintech organization.
