About the role

PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations in Varanasi. You will manage internal staff and external agencies to maintain portfolio health and meet financial targets.

What you'll do

• Supervise a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with third-party recovery partners.
• Track performance metrics, including delinquency buckets and resolution rates.
• Manage portfolio delinquency and execute strategies to reduce roll rates.
• Develop and implement localized collection plans based on portfolio data.
• Ensure all operations comply with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present regular reports on cluster performance and recovery progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make sound operational decisions.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and provide performance feedback.

• Previous experience working within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
