About the role

PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations in Purnia. You will manage internal teams and external agencies to optimize delinquency metrics and ensure operational compliance within your assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Supervise a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with third-party recovery partners.
• Monitor KPIs including delinquency buckets and resolution rates to maintain portfolio health.
• Develop and implement localized collection strategies based on data analysis.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Track daily performance and present progress reports to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Proven ability to lead teams and meet aggressive recovery targets.
• Strong decision-making capability under pressure.

• Prior work experience within a bank, fintech company, or a new-age NBFC.
