About the role
PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations in Motihari. You will manage internal teams and third-party agencies to maintain portfolio health and meet delinquency targets.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Supervise Collection Executives and coordinate with external recovery partners to hit performance goals.
- Track KPIs including resolution rates and delinquency buckets to maintain operational efficiency.
- Take responsibility for cluster-level delinquency rates and overdue payment recovery.
- Create and implement collection strategies based on portfolio data and account status.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze daily portfolio performance and present findings and solutions to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in collections.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

- Professional background in a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
