About the role

PhonePe is looking for a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations and lead a team of executives in Kochi. You will manage delinquency portfolios, coordinate with external recovery agencies, and optimize collection strategies to meet organizational targets.

What you'll do

• Manage and supervise a team of collection executives and third-party recovery partners.
• Oversee the collections process for your designated cluster, focusing on resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Develop and implement collection strategies based on portfolio data and health analysis.
• Ensure all operations comply with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor daily performance and present progress reports to management regarding cluster challenges and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams, management, and external agencies.

• Experience working within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
