About the role
PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations in Guntur. You will manage internal teams and external agencies to maintain portfolio health and meet delinquency targets.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Supervise a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with third-party recovery partners.
- Monitor KPIs including delinquency buckets and resolution rates to ensure operational efficiency.
- Take responsibility for portfolio delinquency rates and manage the recovery of overdue payments.
- Create and implement collection strategies based on portfolio data and account status.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze daily portfolio performance and present reports on results and challenges to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of total experience in collections.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position.
- Strong ability to motivate staff and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies.

- Previous work experience within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
