About the role

PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations and lead a team in Shivamogga. You will manage delinquency rates and coordinate with external agencies to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining operational standards.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Supervise a team of Collection Executives and manage relationships with third-party recovery vendors.
• Track cluster KPIs, including resolution rates and delinquency buckets, to maintain efficiency.
• Take responsibility for portfolio health by implementing targeted recovery strategies for overdue accounts.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify trends and present performance reports to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Background in the banking, Fintech, or new-age NBFC sectors.
