About the role

PhonePe is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager to oversee recovery operations and lead a team of executives in Coimbatore. You will manage delinquency portfolios, coordinate with third-party agencies, and ensure all collection activities align with regulatory standards and internal policies.

What you'll do

• Supervise a team of Collection Executives and manage relationships with external recovery partners.
• Oversee daily collections performance, focusing on resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Develop and implement cluster-specific strategies to reduce overdue payments and control roll rates.
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures and internal compliance guidelines.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, prepare performance reports, and present solutions to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to perform under pressure with strong decision-making capabilities.
• Proactive communication skills to manage internal teams and external agencies.

• Prior work experience within a bank, fintech company, or new-age NBFC.
