About the role
Perplexity is looking for a partner marketing lead to establish this function from the ground up. You will manage high-stakes relationships with major global companies and oversee the execution of joint marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, program management, and hands-on campaign execution to drive growth through our partner ecosystem.

What you'll do
- Develop the end-to-end partner marketing strategy, covering everything from initial planning to final performance reporting.
- Create and manage annual joint marketing plans with key partners, including setting pipeline targets and leading quarterly business reviews.
- Drive the execution of joint marketing efforts, ensuring that strategic commitments translate into tangible campaigns rather than just concepts.
- Define the joint value proposition and messaging to ensure our collaborative stories are clear and effective for target buyers.
- Run full-funnel co-marketing activities, such as webinars, events, account-based marketing, and digital content syndication.
- Produce enablement materials including case studies, pitch decks, and campaign kits to help partner teams sell our solutions.
- Coordinate the marketing side of product launches and major industry announcements to maximize ecosystem visibility.
- Track and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, ensuring accurate attribution within our CRM.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure they are equipped to activate and support partner programs.
- Serve as the main point of contact between our internal teams and partner marketing organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, specifically within alliance, ecosystem, or partner marketing.
- Demonstrated success in managing go-to-market efforts with ISVs, cloud providers, or system integrators that resulted in measurable pipeline growth.
- Ability to hold internal and external teams accountable to defined plans and revenue goals.
- Strong narrative development skills with the ability to create credible, differentiated stories for executive audiences.
- Experience managing full-funnel campaigns hands-on, including digital, content, and event marketing.
- Analytical proficiency in setting up attribution models and managing data within CRM and revenue operations tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and build processes where none currently exist.
