About the role

Join the Integrations team to build the systems that connect Perplexity to external data and workflows. You will design and ship full-stack AI products that transform raw information into actionable tools for our users.

What you'll do

• Develop agentic applications and features that integrate into daily user routines.
• Architect vertical-specific tools like Email Assistants or Personal CFOs to ensure reliable data interaction.
• Manage the infrastructure, pipelines, and connectors required to maintain 99.9 percent reliability for user and enterprise data.
• Execute full-stack projects by running parallel experiments to optimize for retention, adoption, and revenue.
• Collaborate with Design, Data Science, and Infrastructure teams to establish technical strategy and mentor engineering staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience with a history of shipping complex, end-to-end products.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership on ambiguous, large-scale projects.
• Ability to manage multiple product experiments simultaneously while driving measurable outcomes.
• Strong product intuition for converting user needs into technical solutions.
• A founder-like mindset focused on 10x impact and autonomous execution.
• Experience mentoring team members and improving overall technical standards.
• Active interest in AI technology and a commitment to rapid learning.

Nice to have

• Background in finance, legal, healthcare, or operations.
• Experience developing agentic product interfaces.
• Previous tenure at a high-growth startup or within a high-ownership engineering environment.
