Lead Facilities Tech -Day

About the role

This position involves overseeing the daily maintenance and repair of company facilities and grounds. You will guide a team of technicians, manage external vendors, and ensure the workspace remains functional and safe for all staff.

What you'll do

• Direct the daily activities of facilities technicians and coordinate with third-party service providers.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Manage work orders to ensure timely resolution of repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and structural issues.
• Coordinate furniture reconfigurations and department moves.
• Enforce safety regulations, including lock out-tag out, fire protection, and hazardous material handling.
• Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in facility maintenance, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and data systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to work on ladders and use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• Strong English communication skills for reading labels, instructions, and coordinating assignments.

Nice to have

• Prior experience within biotech, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.

Practical notes

• This is an on-site role that may require travel up to 10% of the time.
• The schedule may occasionally shift to include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
