About the role
You will join a cross-functional team to expand the reach of Penumbrainc products to patients. This role focuses on managing regional distribution networks, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction through strategic oversight.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and execute strategies to improve the distribution network.
- Evaluate and recruit new distributors to grow market presence.
- Manage ongoing relationships with distributors, hospitals, labs, and physicians.
- Convert prospective users into active customers for Penumbrainc.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
- Set and track distribution performance targets using sales data.
- Train distributors on product lines and sales techniques.
- Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to corporate leadership.
- Attend industry trade shows and manage follow-up activities.
- Optimize logistics and inventory processes for cost-effective operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically in medical device sales.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or other regulated industries.
- Background in sales or marketing roles.

- Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious materials.
