Clinical Specialist Assistant Intern

About the role

This internship supports the Penumbrainc team in Singapore by driving sales growth and improving client relations across the APAC region. You will work alongside territory managers and clinical specialists to provide medical device services within hospital environments.

What you'll do

• Help clinical specialists and territory managers conduct hospital-based training and in-services for medical devices.
• Manage monthly consignment stock audits and assist with inventory reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
• Handle administrative duties such as documentation and report creation to improve operational workflow.
• Aid in the launch of a referral initiative for private surgeons focused on deep vein thrombosis patients, ensuring cross-specialty alignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma and current enrollment in or recent graduation from a university program in biomedical engineering, healthcare, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively in a high-speed work setting.

Nice to have

• Foundational understanding of medical devices.
• Interest in patient care pathways and program development.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency with standard office equipment including printers and copiers.
• Ability to produce spreadsheets, emails, and professional documents.

Practical notes

• This role involves a mix of remote work and on-site hospital visits.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• You must be able to navigate between floors and buildings, access file cabinets, and remain stationary at a computer for extended periods.
