Computer Vision Engineer

About the role

Pentangle Tech Services is hiring for the P5 Group to support Honda manufacturing operations. You will build vision-based inspection systems and data models to increase production quality and equipment uptime at the Raymond facility.

What you'll do

• Create and implement vision systems for quality control and manufacturing processes.
• Build machine learning models to interpret sensor and machine data.
• Spot operational bottlenecks and design IoT solutions to address them.
• Translate production needs into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the long-term IoT roadmap and strategy.
• Test new technologies and move successful prototypes into full production.
• Work with engineering departments to boost plant reliability and output.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Controls, Systems, or Data Engineering.
• 2+ years of professional experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial controls, machine learning, embedded systems, data engineering, and automation.
• Proficiency with PLC hardware from Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Siemens, and Omron.
• Technical knowledge of image segmentation, morphology, pose estimation, calibration, enhancement, feature extraction, classification, 3D vision, and deep learning.
• Development experience using Python, C++, HALCON, Matrox, Cognex, and Keyence.
• Experience with audio, vibration, and current signature analysis.
