What you'll do
- Guide and manage teams to execute client programs effectively.
- Identify and pursue new business ventures and opportunities.
- Develop and submit written proposals that meet company standards.
- Promote the business and its services.
- Serve as a leadership resource for less experienced staff.
- Track and forecast client account revenues and profitability, supporting the Partner.
- Lead client account teams to provide high-quality advice, strategies, and materials.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients.
- Address challenges in client and team situations.
- Actively participate in generating and securing new business.
- Represent the agency at new business and other meetings.
- Create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for team members.
- Mentor junior colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
- Support team member career development and recommend training in consultation with the Partner.
- Complete timesheets and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Perform additional duties assigned by your manager, with appropriate training.
Requirements
- Extensive background in EU public affairs and policy communications, preferably from a consultancy.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong abilities in problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and project execution.
- An entrepreneurial approach and openness to new work methods.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
