Sr Director, Demand Generation EMEA

About the role

Pendo is seeking a hands-on leader to own and execute the marketing pipeline strategy across the UK, DACH, France, Nordics, and the Netherlands. You will function as a builder, creating original demand programs tailored to European markets rather than simply adapting global content.

What you'll do

• Deliver pipeline contribution targets across all segments and sub-regions.
• Design and launch original demand generation initiatives, including ABM and digital plays specific to European buyers.
• Collaborate with regional sales leadership to align on account planning, pipeline coverage, and deal progression.
• Formulate a cohesive marketing strategy that accounts for diverse buying behaviors, with a focus on France and DACH.
• Represent EMEA requirements and investment needs during global marketing planning sessions.
• Manage and mentor the EMEA demand generation team, including the Director of Field Marketing.
• Establish a co-marketing strategy involving regional partners, resellers, and SIs.
• Report on marketing performance metrics, including ROI, funnel conversion, and attributed revenue.

Requirements

• 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
• 3 to 5+ years in a senior demand generation or regional marketing leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in hitting pipeline targets within high-growth environments.
• Experience developing demand generation programs from the ground up.
• Multi-market EMEA experience with specific depth in French or DACH markets.
• Experience working within a US-headquartered company while maintaining autonomy in Europe.
• Ability to function effectively in a lean, independent team environment.
• Analytical proficiency in forecasting, attribution, and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to build high-trust relationships with sales teams and lead internal staff.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French or German, including a deep understanding of the respective regional cultures.
