About the role
Join the Workouts Design Team at Peloton to create software experiences that help people live healthier, longer lives. This role focuses on designing new workout interactions, software for new hardware, and intuitive ways to exercise anywhere. You will develop complex interfaces and iterate rapidly on both UI and UX.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with design, product, and engineering to ensure consistent experiences across all member platforms, including hardware, web, mobile, and TV.
- Work with design leaders across software and hardware to explore new research and development opportunities and shape future experiences.
- Lead intricate design projects that span multiple major product areas.
- Translate product concepts into tangible designs through prototyping and visual storytelling.
- Help establish best practices for cross-functional accessibility standards.
- Move fluidly between high-level strategic direction and detailed pixel-level design.
- Clearly communicate ideas and gain support across various teams and functions.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in software product design.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product managers and engineers to define the vision, strategy, and reasoning for features.
- Strong skills in interface and interaction design.
- Proficient in User Experience, Testing, Research, and Information Architecture.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize multi-state, multi-path interaction systems, consistently accounting for edge cases.
- Comfortable with unclear requirements and capable of quickly adapting to changes in project direction.
- Extensive experience using prototyping to explore and communicate design solutions.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Awareness of broader business goals, delivering intuitive and user-centered design solutions.
- Familiarity with design systems, interaction patterns, and limitations of cross-platform applications, specifically Android, iOS, and web apps.

Practical notes
The base salary range for this position in New York City is $155,350 to $190,850 USD. This is part of a comprehensive total rewards package that includes annual equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and various health and welfare benefits.
