Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Peloton is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage the infrastructure supporting our corporate sites, warehouses, and the New York Broadcast Studio. You will serve as a technical bridge between our cloud engineering and studio operations teams to ensure high-performance delivery of live media content.

What you'll do

• Design and secure network architecture across hybrid on-premises and AWS environments using Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Perform traffic analysis and troubleshooting for the New York studio to maintain constant uptime for live video streaming and OTT delivery.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including traffic shaping, SD-WAN optimization, security policy creation, and Tier-3 disaster recovery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, with at least 6 years in SaaS environments and 4 years in AWS public cloud networking.
• 3+ years of experience optimizing IP networks for live video using multicast, unicast, HLS, RTMP, and SRT protocols.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Active CCIE or JNCIE certification.
• Mastery of L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), security protocols (IPsec, 802.1x, RADIUS), SD-WAN, and SDN/SDDC solutions.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code for network automation.
