About the role

Peerbound is building a platform that helps B2B companies activate customer testimonials and voices to drive sales. We are seeking our first dedicated AI engineer to own the development of core intelligence features that serve enterprise clients like AlphaSense, Braze, and Databricks.

What you'll do

• Create automated customer profiles by processing data from call recordings, emails, surveys, and reviews.
• Develop dynamic systems that use visitor metadata to prioritize specific testimonials and case studies.
• Design AI-driven interview and survey tools that adapt questions based on individual customer expertise.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from initial research and prototyping to production deployment and measurement.
• Balance prompt engineering and model tuning with backend tasks like database schema design and caching.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building features for SaaS products.
• 1+ years of specific experience building features powered by Large Language Models.
• MS or PhD in engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python, statistics, and distributed system architecture.
• Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, and evaluation frameworks.

Practical notes

• Compensation: $180,000 to $220,000 per year plus equity.
