Solutions Engineer

About the role

Apex Fintech Solutions is looking for a technical expert to design and deploy software for the banking and brokerage sectors. You will act as a primary technical contact for clients, helping them integrate our API services while advocating for their needs within our product development teams.

What you'll do

• Create and present technical solution architectures for clients using our API suite.
• Guide new and existing clients through implementation and optimization of our financial tools.
• Serve as the internal voice of the customer to influence product roadmaps and engineering priorities.
• Explain complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and C-suite stakeholders.
• Research and maintain expertise in cloud infrastructure, microservices, and financial industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a technical solutions role within finance or technology.
• Demonstrated ability to build, test, and support REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of public cloud infrastructure and microservices.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, Python, C#, C++, or Go.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the fintech industry.
• Background in project management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing systems such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Google Pub/Sub.
• Experience with DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
