Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in mobile application development, particularly consumer-facing apps at scale.
• Proficient in Swift and knowledgeable about multi-threaded, asynchronous programming.
• Strong understanding of integrating GraphQL and REST APIs within mobile applications.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior software engineers.
• Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with testing best practices and at least one mobile testing framework, along with skills in writing unit and automation tests.
• In-depth knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, particularly MVC and MVVM patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform mobile development tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services and backend technologies.

The salary for this position in Austin, Texas ranges from $160,500 to $238,700, with potential additional compensation through performance bonuses, equity, or other incentives.
