Senior Product Manager Trust and Safety

You will lead the strategy and execution for fraud prevention across our global platforms, ensuring we protect our users while maintaining access to credit. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and security, requiring you to build systems that stop sophisticated attacks without creating barriers for legitimate customers.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a multi-market strategy that reduces fraud losses while maintaining high customer conversion rates.
• Manage the product lifecycle for detection and prevention systems, from initial discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to implement machine learning models, rule engines, and real-time monitoring tools.
• Create identity verification and device intelligence processes that minimize user friction.
• Monitor and address emerging threats such as synthetic identities, deepfakes, and device manipulation.
• Implement AI and agentic automation to streamline fraud operations and case management.
• Establish and track performance metrics including detection latency, loss rates, and false positive impacts.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across legal, compliance, operations, and regional leadership regarding risk tolerance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in product management, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically in risk, trust and safety, fraud, or payments within a fintech or high-scale environment.
• Demonstrated success in launching risk management products that lowered loss rates while preserving user conversion.
• Technical proficiency in evaluating machine learning performance, data pipelines, API design, and real-time decision systems.
• Ability to perform hands-on data analysis using SQL and build internal dashboards for decision-making.
• Experience coordinating complex projects across engineering, data science, and operations teams.
• Strong prioritization skills to manage competing demands across multiple global markets.

Nice to have

• Work experience involving fraud patterns in emerging markets such as Latin America, Africa, or Southeast Asia.
• Familiarity with vendors like Sardine, Arkose Labs, or Sift.
• Background in behavioral biometrics, identity verification, or device intelligence.
• Experience integrating or improving ML-based fraud detection models.
• Practical experience using LLMs or AI agents for automated case routing and investigation.
• Understanding of KYC and AML compliance regulations.
• Spanish language proficiency.
