About the role
Payjoy provides credit access to underserved populations in emerging markets through point-of-sale financing and card products. This role focuses on building the internal financial infrastructure required to manage cash reconciliation, merchant settlements, and loan tracking as the company scales globally.

What you'll do
- Direct the product strategy for internal financial systems including bank transaction matching and cash reconciliation.
- Create and execute a product roadmap aimed at replacing manual financial processes with automated workflows.
- Serve as the main point of contact between engineering, finance, accounting, and local operations teams.
- Lead prioritization meetings to balance immediate operational needs with long-term infrastructure improvements.
- Translate complex operational challenges into technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle for financial tools, from initial planning to release and quality monitoring.
- Track automation metrics to reduce the manual workload for the FinOps department.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software product management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience building or implementing treasury, accounting, settlement, or reconciliation systems.
- Proficiency in writing SQL and analyzing data models or pipeline outputs.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
