As an Operations Manager at Pattern, you will oversee the comprehensive management of our UK warehouse operations. Your leadership will ensure the efficient handling of goods, from receipt to dispatch, while upholding safety and cost-effectiveness. What you'll do
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including scheduling incoming goods and processing volumes.
- Oversee financial responsibilities, including budget management and P&L accountability for the site.
- Build and lead a skilled team, adapting staffing levels in response to business demands and seasonal fluctuations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for consumables, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Planning team to align on forecasted volumes and shipping priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management, with full P&L responsibility.
- Proven leadership abilities, capable of recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams in a dynamic setting.
- Strong financial skills, including budgeting, cost management, and vendor negotiation experience.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics software, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Fluency in English is essential.
