About the role
Patsnap is seeking a specialist to manage and refine chemical drug data within our research and development platforms. You will bridge the gap between complex pharmaceutical business requirements and technical data product development to improve our information offerings.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Translate pharmaceutical R&D business needs into clear technical requirements for data products.
- Partner with data engineering, quality, and AI departments to maintain stable data mining and processing workflows.
- Design and maintain a quality evaluation framework for biomedical data, using customer feedback and business logic to drive improvements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for data operations, overseeing project timelines and delivery schedules.
- Develop and refine prompts to utilize Large Language Models for extracting and normalizing information from patents and scientific literature.
- Create and test AI agents designed for drug discovery and patent strategy applications.
Requirements
- Master degree or higher in Synthetic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Drug Design, or AI in Drug Discovery.
- Professional proficiency in English for daily communication and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Strong logical reasoning and the ability to convert business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to manage cross-departmental projects and meet deadlines.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in data roles within chemical drug R&D, clinical research, or pharmaceutical database development.
- Familiarity with chemical and biomedical databases including SciFinder, Reaxys, STN, or GOSTAR.
- Practical experience with database design and implementation.
