What you'll do

• Manage daily team operations, including resource allocation, performance tracking, and professional development.
• Convert business objectives into actionable technical strategies and organizational priorities.
• Direct large-scale projects from initial requirements and design through to final deployment and iteration.
• Review system architecture and technical designs to mitigate risks and resolve bottlenecks.
• Refine development processes and quality standards to boost team output and system uptime.
• Coordinate with product, AI, and engineering departments to execute complex initiatives.
• Address long-term technical debt by implementing reusable solutions and systematic improvements.
• Balance short-term delivery needs with the long-term health of our technology stack.
• Recruit, mentor, and coach staff to build a high-performing engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Significant background in software engineering combined with experience managing technical teams.
• History of leading the design and delivery of large-scale systems.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to evaluate and challenge architectural decisions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including quality assurance and delivery efficiency.
• Practical expertise in at least one area: backend, platform, data engineering, test automation, or engineering productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to solve system and process-level challenges through tool implementation and collaboration.
• Proven project management skills with a focus on cross-functional execution.
• Experience building stable, effective teams through active coaching and performance management.

Nice to have

• Background in enterprise software, SaaS, or AI-integrated products.
• Experience with data-heavy systems, automated testing frameworks, or internal developer platforms.
• History of building teams, systems, or development practices from the initial stage.
• Experience managing organizational change, technical governance, or engineering transformations.
• A track record of blending hands-on architectural involvement with people leadership.
