In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of enterprise accounts across the ASEAN region, focusing on both acquiring new business and nurturing existing client relationships to foster growth and retention.

What you'll do
- Manage the complete sales process, starting from the initial discovery phase and solution design to the final stages of contract negotiation for both enterprise clients and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver precise revenue forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of your assigned accounts, which includes managing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and executing cross-sell strategies.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior stakeholders in departments such as legal, research and development, and innovation, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new clients and conduct quarterly business reviews to assess satisfaction levels and address any concerns.
- Address account escalations effectively and communicate the advantages of new product updates to your client base, ensuring they are informed and engaged.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with client needs and market trends, enhancing overall service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships.
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and maintain detailed records of account activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote Patsnap's offerings and expand your professional network.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats in the region.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or higher is required, with a preference for candidates who have studied engineering, chemistry, or business.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the fields of enterprise SaaS, technology solutions, intellectual property services, or research and development tools.
- Proven experience in managing strategic accounts that involve complex sales processes and long sales cycles.
- A strong track record of working with clients in the ASEAN region, demonstrating an understanding of the local market dynamics.
- Ability to articulate technical and data-intensive solutions in a manner that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
Nice to have
- Previous experience selling to teams focused on innovation, legal, intellectual property, or research and development would be advantageous.
- Fluency in additional Asian languages can enhance communication with a broader client base and is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in the SaaS industry will be beneficial for understanding client needs.
