Machine Learning Engineer, Presentation and Visual Optimization

About the role

Join the Presentation pod within the Paramount AMLG team to manage the visual gateway of our streaming platforms. You will develop and scale machine learning systems that determine how content is displayed to maximize user engagement.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Build and maintain features for artwork selection, marquee personalization, and carousel design.
• Develop solutions for Multi-Armed Bandit systems and visual feature pipelines.
• Manage end-to-end implementation from data ingestion to production deployment.
• Design and monitor online experiments and bandit rollouts to track user interaction.
• Improve system reliability and engineering velocity by addressing technical bottlenecks.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain technical standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or backend software engineering.
• Proven ability to own and deliver technical components autonomously.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with distributed data processing tools like Spark or Databricks.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, and writing production-grade code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Multi-Armed Bandits or Reinforcement Learning.
• Background in Computer Vision or image processing.
• Experience in high-scale streaming or e-commerce environments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
