Lead Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team and help refine the video streaming experience for our users. You will guide a group of developers through complex technical challenges while working with the latest iOS and tvOS technologies.

What you'll do

• Build, debug, and deliver native iOS and tvOS applications.
• Write unit tests to ensure code reliability, usability, and performance.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-quality mobile features.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new functionality.
• Mentor team members and promote positive engineering practices.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve development workflows.
• Manage application upgrades, rebuilds, and porting projects.
• Translate product requirements into technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift programming.
• Deep understanding of the iOS platform and Xcode.
• Strong grasp of memory management, multi-threading, and animations.
• Experience building UI for various screen sizes using storyboards and xibs.
• Proven track record as a key contributor to at least one public-facing iPhone app.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with back-end services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving, architectural, and communication skills.
