Senior AI-Driven Integration & Validation Engineer

About the role

Parallelwireless is seeking a technical expert to join our team in Kfar Saba to help refine our Open RAN mobile network solutions. You will focus on the integration and validation of complex distributed systems while incorporating AI tools to improve engineering productivity and system reliability.

What you'll do

• Create and run comprehensive integration and validation tests across various product domains.
• Verify new features and ensure compatibility between distributed system parts.
• Perform deep technical analysis to find the root cause of complex cross-component problems.
• Review system and application logs to pinpoint and resolve errors.
• Master the system architecture, data flows, and service interactions.
• Work with architects, software engineers, and product managers during the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to feature planning by offering validation insights early in the process.
• Refine validation methods and engineering workflows to boost product quality.
• Use AI tools to speed up troubleshooting, technical research, and documentation.
• Propose new ideas to improve engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in System Integration, System Validation, or Software Quality Engineering.
• Proven track record working with complex distributed software systems.
• Experience applying AI tools to engineering tasks.
• Background in Agile development environments.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
• Ability to analyze system and application logs.
• Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to grasp complex architectures.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in telecom technologies including 4G, 5G, or Open RAN.
• Understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or Kibana.
