About the role
OpusClip is the leading AI video platform helping creators and businesses produce authentic social media content. We are seeking a senior designer to lead product development and translate complex AI features into user-friendly interfaces.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the entire design lifecycle from initial problem definition to final UI implementation.
- Lead projects from concept to release by setting your own scope and priorities.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and AI researchers to shape the product roadmap.
- Propose product improvements by challenging existing assumptions and identifying user needs.
- Produce wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity interfaces, and technical specifications.
- Use HTML, CSS, and Git to build prototypes or implement front-end adjustments directly.
- Maintain and scale design standards and documentation across the platform.
- Integrate AI tools into your workflow to increase speed and iteration quality.
Requirements
- Proven history of shipping live product designs rather than conceptual work.
- Ability to manage projects autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Advanced skills in Figma and a strong grasp of interaction, layout, and typography.
- Practical experience with HTML, CSS, and Git to facilitate engineering collaboration.
- Proficiency in using AI creative and prototyping tools to enhance design output.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of personal accountability for project outcomes.
- Ability to balance design quality with business objectives and user feedback.
- Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with motion design or animation software such as Rive or After Effects.
