About the role
One-pass-solutions is seeking an Operations Project Manager to join the team for a 9-12 month contract. This role is crucial for managing high-demand projects, coordinating with various internal and external groups, and ensuring that key tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard. You will provide essential project management support during a period of significant growth and operational activity.

What you'll do
- Lead operational initiatives from start to finish, overseeing intake through final delivery.
- Coordinate with Operations, Product, Technology, Network, Growth, Finance, and outside partners to align on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, tracking tools, and reports to monitor progress and dependencies.
- Facilitate collaboration and accountability across teams to keep projects on track.
- Escalate issues and risks as needed, working to resolve them promptly.
- Act as the main project lead for initiatives involving external partners and key clients.
- Translate business and client needs into clear project plans, workstreams, and delivery milestones.
- Work closely with Technology and Operations to ensure systems are ready, integrations are smooth, and operations are prepared.
- Identify potential risks, gaps, and operational impacts, then proactively develop plans to reduce them.
- Serve as a central point for coordinating operational functions, ensuring tasks are prioritized and sequenced effectively.
- Manage dependencies between teams and conflicting priorities to minimize project delays.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder updates.
- Clarify ownership, accountability, and decision-making processes.
- Analyze operational and project data to find trends, risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and project status summaries.
- Convert data into practical insights and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support data-driven decisions and track outcomes throughout the contract.
- Establish project management standards, tools, and governance processes to improve execution consistency.
- Create and maintain project documentation, risk logs, decision registers, and status reports.
- Find opportunities to simplify processes and improve coordination across functions.
- Recommend sustainable operational practices that can continue after the contract ends.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, achievements, risks, and key decisions.
- Identify blockers early and facilitate stakeholder alignment to maintain project momentum.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for executives.
- Conduct project closeout reviews and document lessons learned.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in project management, program management, operations, or consulting.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Experience creating project reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
- Ability to quickly adapt, work independently, and make an immediate impact in a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working with both business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Background in healthcare, payer, benefits, or related industries.
- Experience leading client-facing and external partner initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet, and Excel.
- Experience improving operational processes and delivery models.
- Knowledge of KPIs, operational metrics, and performance reporting.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience working as a 1099 contractor or in a consulting role.
