HR Operations Manager at OKX.
About the role
You will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for our Hong Kong office, ensuring HR services are delivered accurately and in full compliance with local regulations. This position focuses on optimizing workflows and utilizing technology to improve operational efficiency and the overall employee experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Manage immigration processes such as IANG, employment visas, and business visas.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF requirements, and salaries tax filings like IR56B, E, F, and G.
- Maintain data integrity within HR systems and manage documentation for audits and statutory reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Finance, Legal, IT, and HR Business Partners to resolve operational issues.
- Analyze HR metrics to track performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Propose and implement process improvements using automation and AI tools to streamline workflows.
- Lead or assist with HR projects while meeting established deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Operations, with at least 3 years dedicated to the Hong Kong market.
- Expert knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and statutory benefit obligations.
- Proven track record in handling HK immigration matters including employment and dependent visas.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or multinational corporate environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on identifying root causes and delivering solutions.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese (written and spoken).
- High level of discretion when managing confidential employee information.
