Staff Software Engineer, Developer Platform

About the role

You will lead technical initiatives within the Auth0 Developer Platform group to improve how engineers interact with identity services. This role focuses on the evolution of APIs, SDKs, and command-line tools to support both human developers and AI-driven agents.

• Architect and maintain the interfaces that developers use to integrate Auth0 services into their applications.
• Design API structures and tooling that remain functional and reliable when accessed by autonomous AI agents.
• Drive the technical strategy for our SDKs and CLI to ensure a high-quality developer experience.
• Collaborate across the organization to solve complex identity infrastructure problems.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, specifically building developer-facing products.
• Proven ability to design and scale APIs and software development kits.
• Experience working with identity management or security-focused infrastructure.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and execute technical projects from concept to deployment.
